Caturra Coffee & Wine Bar

A large selection of soups, salads, panini sandwiches and specialty coffees makes this a fashionable spot for your midday meal. (The leather chairs and the comfy sofa help, too). Orders are placed and paid for at the counter and brought to your table quickly (within eight to ten minutes on our visit). The food is delicious, especially the restaurant's signature salad of dried cranberries, walnuts, Maytag blue cheese and raspberry-cider dressing over mixed greens for $3.89. More out-of-the-ordinary combinations to brighten your midday meal include a sandwich of homemade egg salad with prosciutto, dill, greens and tomatoes on cracked wheat toast (or wrapped in a spinach tortilla) and a salad of greens, sun-dried tomatoes, almonds and goat cheese with a shallot-cider dressing.
