Opening of Arlington Café Caturra Slated for September

Menu and unique service model emphasize quality, value, convenience and flexibility.

Richmond, VA (September 12, 2011) – On September 16, Arlington will see the opening of a brand new Café Caturra. The neighborhood café, now nearing completion at 2931 South Glebe Road in the Arlington Ridge Shopping Center, is the company's first Northern Virginia location.

Café Caturra Founder Jeff Grant is excited about all the new café will offer. "We've built a strong heritage as a gathering spot for people in the communities we serve. Our wine tasting bar, small plates and stone hearth pizzas—not to mention our attentive hybrid service—make for a relaxed fun evening at a great value."

Grant is also enthusiastic about introducing the Café Caturra lunch experience, which emphasizes sandwiches, paninis, fresh salads and homemade soups. "We strive to provide uncompromising quality but without all the hassles of a full-service restaurant. You order and pay at the counter and we deliver your food either to the table or boxed to-go."

The 3400 square-foot Arlington Ridge café was designed by Herb Heiserman, Rhena Saar and Gabriela Philippon of the award-winning strategic retail design firm Streetsense. The space will feature signature décor that blends reclaimed materials, custom leather banquettes, comfortable seating, local artwork and eclectic music. A centrally-located wine bar will offer 24 by-the-glass selections that customers are encouraged to "try before you buy."
